Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Cairo to Bahariya and the White Desert
- 07:00 Pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza.
- 4 to 5 hours Drive to Bahariya Oasis (about 350 km) in a private air-conditioned vehicle.
- Midday Switch to a 4x4 Jeep. Lunch is served in the desert, in the Valley of El Hayz area.
- Afternoon Cross the Black Desert and enter the White Desert National Park.
- Sunset Arrive among the chalk rock formations. Our Bedouin crew sets up camp and cooks dinner. You sleep in tents under the stars.
Day 2: Sunrise, Crystal Mountain and return to Cairo
- Sunrise and breakfast in the desert.
- Morning Explore the famous mushroom and chicken-shaped formations and try sand boarding on the dunes.
- On the way back Black Mountain, the quartz formations of Crystal Mountain and Agabat Valley.
- Lunch in Bahariya Oasis, then drive back to Cairo.
- Drop-off at your hotel at about 4 PM.
