Itinerary

Day 1: Cairo to Agabat Valley
Leave your hotel in Cairo or Giza at 7 am and drive to Bahariya Oasis for lunch. Visit the Black Desert and the Crystal Mountain, then continue to Agabat Valley, where you meet the camels. Trek 12 km to the first camp and enjoy dinner.
Day 2: The Small Valley
After breakfast, trek toward the region's highest mountains and then into the depression known as the Small Valley. Lunch, another hour of trekking, then camp and dinner.
Day 3: Springs and sand dunes
Trek to the great valley near the springs. Lunch is by the spring, where the water is refilled and the camels drink. Two more hours of trekking bring you to a camp in the sand dunes.
Day 4: Arrival in the White Desert
About four hours of trekking to the White Desert, with lunch on the way. You arrive at sunset, then camp and have dinner.
Day 5: The new White Desert
Spend the day trekking through the new White Desert and its chalk formations. After lunch, continue to the camp in the old White Desert for dinner.
Day 6: Wadi Khima and Ice Mountain
Trek through the ancient White Desert and visit Wadi Khima, the acacia tree, Ice Mountain and the Green Eye. Lunch, then trek on to the camp.
Day 7: Return to Cairo
Final trek through the ancient White Desert to the asphalt road. Return to Bahariya Oasis for lunch, then drive back to Cairo, arriving around 4 pm.
