Where the adventure begins

The journey starts with a morning pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza. You relax in an air-conditioned vehicle as the city fades away and the road leads toward Bahariya Oasis, about four hours away. In the oasis we serve a local lunch before the off-road part of the trip starts.

Your desert ride

The deep desert needs a real off-road vehicle. We use sturdy 4×4 vehicles, such as Toyota Land Cruisers, driven by local drivers who adjust tire pressure and gears to cross soft dunes and rocky trails safely.

The itinerary: four landscapes that look like different planets

1. The Black DesertCone-shaped volcanic hills covered with black stones, in strong contrast with the yellow sand.

Your part: protect the White Desert

The White Desert is a protected national park, so follow a leave-no-trace policy.
Put all trash in the designated garbage bags.
Listen to your guide, especially when you climb rocks or walk near the camp.
Stay close to the group after sunset.

Safety and emergency support

Our Bedouin guides grew up in this region and know its dunes and rocks. Our vehicles carry first aid kits, recovery tools and extra drinking water, and our team carries communication devices to reach support if needed. We watch the weather and choose sheltered campsites.
